I’m a multi-disciplinary creative with a passion for storytelling across film, photography, and social impact media production. My work is rooted in the belief that human stories have the power to inspire change, whether through documentary filmmaking, photography, or digital communications. I thrive on crafting narratives that engage, inform, and inspire action - whether that’s in commercial campaigns, political communications, or humanitarian advocacy.
I started my career in commercial advertising in 2015, learning the ropes at Marshall Street Editors before working as a video editor at The Corner London. I also worked as an assistant to the directing duo WE direct, contributing to high-profile campaigns for global brands such as Adidas, Cadbury, and EE. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in filmmaking, post-production, and creative storytelling at a high level, allowing me to work in fast-paced environments where visual storytelling had to be both engaging and commercially effective.
In 2018, I worked as Communications Manager for Choose Love in Northern France, leading a team that created social media content reaching tens of thousands of people. I collaborated with grassroots NGOs like Refugee Info Bus, Refugee Women’s Centre, Utopia 56, Refugee Youth Service, and L’Auberge des Migrants, crafting powerful media campaigns that highlighted the struggles and resilience of displaced communities. I also helped develop press releases and promotional materials for investigative reports, including Calais: The Police Harassment of Volunteers and Police Violence in Calais: Abusive and Illegal Practices by Law Enforcement Officers. This work reinforced my commitment to using media as a tool for advocacy and meaningful change.
In 2020, I co-founded GUTTERSPACE, a production company dedicated to charity and social impact content. Through our work, we aim to amplify important causes and empower communities, working with clients such as UNAIDS, Freedom from Torture, The Love Tank, and the UK Labour Party. Our focus is on producing high-quality films that drive awareness and action, using storytelling to bridge gaps between organisations and the people they serve. I’m committed to using film as a tool for storytelling that goes beyond entertainment - it’s about sparking conversations, shifting perspectives, and creating real-world impact.
As a photographer, I’ve had my work published in The Independent, BBC, Wales Online, Al Jazeera, Geographical Magazine, and more. My approach to photography is much like my approach to filmmaking - finding the human element in every frame. Whether I’m capturing the energy of social movements, the intimacy of a quiet moment, or the atmosphere of cultural events, I strive to create images that resonate. My work is not just about aesthetics; it’s about storytelling, emotion, and impact.
I also work with Getty Images as a Digital Image Technician and Video Editor, working on some of the world’s most prestigious events. My assignments have included:
TV BAFTA Awards, London, United Kingdom (2023)
BFI x BMW Filmmaking challenge London Film Festival, United Kingdom (2023)
amfAR Gala Cannes, France (2023 & 2024)
amfAR Gala Venezia, Italy (2023)
Red Sea International Film Festival, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, (2024)
In this role, I ensure that high-quality visual content is delivered quickly and efficiently, maintaining a fast turnaround for global media distribution. It’s a high-pressure environment that requires precision, speed, and an eye for detail - skills I’ve honed across all areas of my career. My experience in live event coverage, high-speed editing, and digital asset management allows me to thrive in these fast-paced, high-profile settings.
Over the years, I’ve developed expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign. My skill set allows me to oversee all aspects of visual storytelling, from concept development to post-production. Whether I’m editing a film, designing campaign materials, creating motion graphics, or developing social media assets, I bring both a technical and creative approach to every project.
Currently, I serve as Digital Communications Coordinator at the Communication Workers Union (CWU), having previously worked as their Social Media Manager. My role involves leading digital strategy, creating compelling content, and ensuring the union’s message reaches members and the wider public.
I believe in the power of storytelling to mobilise, inform, and inspire action, and I apply this philosophy to my work in the trade union movement. Whether crafting video campaigns, producing engaging social media content, or shaping messaging strategies, I strive to make sure every piece of communication resonates with the audience.
Across all my roles - whether in filmmaking, photography, digital communications, or post-production - my goal remains the same: to tell powerful, authentic stories that connect people, challenge perspectives, and drive meaningful change. My work spans multiple industries, but the through-line is always the same: storytelling with impact.
